Saudi Arabia Did More Last Week to Lower Gas Prices Than Congress Did


"The Left just doesn't seem to get it. They spent much of last week ridiculing the President for visiting Saudi Arabia in an effort to lower oil prices. Here's what Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said on Friday:


"The president seems to value his friendship with the Saudis more than his obligation to help the American people with gas prices."

But what Senator Schumer doesn't seem to understand is that the Saudis did more last week to lower oil prices than liberals in Congress did.

While liberals were voting to prevent domestic production from oil shale, the Saudis, following President Bush's visit, agreed to boost their oil output by 300,000 barrels a day. It won't fix the problem, but at least it won't make it worse, which is exactly what liberals in Congress did last week."

"As I mentioned, the higher energy prices Americans are paying are the equivalent of a huge tax increase. So how is it that the liberals in Congress, faced with an opportunity like the one last week to lessen this burden on Americans, could reject it without a second thought?"

This week, Bill Clinton lost his second presidential election for a protege.

Ronald Reagan was so popular, he not only won a 49-state landslide re-election for himself, but he also won a symbolic third term for his boob of a vice president, George Herbert Walker Bush (who immediately blew it by breaking his own "no new taxes" pledge).

By contrast, in addition to not being able to get half the country to vote for him in two tries, Clinton's connection to any other presidential candidate spells utter doom. Both his vice president and his wife have been defeated in elections they should have won, but lost because of their unfortunate association with him. The country has spoken. It wants to be rid of the Clintons.

Ann Coulter may have some well-stated reasons why this is so in, "One Down Two To Go". Al Salibiyyah states better ones in a posting about, "Bill Clinton and the Kosovo War". The latter post is a particularly damning indictment of Clinton (as if another one is needed), but it is also a warning about what we may face from the "other two to go". Both videos are great in presenting facts which should be widely known both about Clinton and about Kosovo, and the article (don't overlook the links) at the bottom of the page has great information about Kosovo and the disastrous "US" policies pressed by certain interest groups, including the ever-present Soros, which led the US into a conflict against it's own interests.

Let's not allow a continuance of these mistakes. A more current perspective of the problems that TRUE Americans face with Kosovo is provided by, "Bleeding Serbia, in an article by Thomas Fleming. We are likely to experience worse problems under the "wise" leadership in this area by John McCain and George Soros. Author Fleming states:


"This brings us to the central in Serbia’s relations with the United States. While patriotic Christians in the US might some day wake up to realize they have been backing the wrong side in the Balkans, the multi-culturalist left will always hate any Serb who refuses to hate himself and his country. As difficult as the task may seem, Serbian leaders must attempt to arrive at a common understanding with Americans who fear Islamic Jihad and can be made to understand that the Serbs are, once again, a bulwark against the Islamic hordes who threaten our civilization."

UK gov't Sentencing 5 year olds to Sin Bin

"Children as young as five will be pulled out of school and sent to so-called "sin bins" under plans to tackle bad behaviour before it happens, ministers announced today.


Children's Secretary Ed Balls said it was crucial to prevent pupils getting into trouble by catching them before they did anything seriously wrong.


Primary school teachers will identify youngsters thought to be at risk of losing their way because they have special needs or a sibling or parent in prison, he said."


All children are at risk, but they are at risk from this Orwellian UK system. Children who are no longer allowed to be children are a real problem to such a state. They may even grow up to challenge the repressive conduct of government against the youngest and most innocent within any society.

They are setting good examples for such a world, such as inflicting punishment before a crime has been committed:

If money given by certain interests have anything to do with the election (and who doubts that it does?), then the giving by those donors with the ass marks (85 Democrat marks) at, "Top All-Time Donors, 1989-2008", may decide who is elected. You may want to pay particular attention to the proportion of funds (that means "money" to the working people) which the unions and educators feed to the Democrats. "Non-profits" usually come as close.

As stated, "Unlimited soft money contributions to 527s may come from the treasuries of corporations and labor unions, which cannot give money directly to federal candidates and parties." I wonder how much Soro's totals really come to?


The next section tells us, "527s: Advocacy Group Spending in the 2008 Elections". I think they could really place some emphasis on the latter part of the last sentence: "Such "issue advocacy" won't explicitly tell you to elect or defeat a particular candidate, but the advocacy group's view of the candidate's stance on their issue is clear."


I didn't see your name anywhere there. I guess you can look for it, and while you do find mine, too. I know I should have been there. Actually, I think it should be only our names on these lists and none of the others. What do you think?


I'll tell you a secret. Until it is our names and none of theirs, it will be them deciding the elections (and the candidates), at least within an election where only the major parties are "contending". It is a good trick, isn't it, when legal fiction entities swing more weight in selecting our candidates and electing our political leaders than REAL people do.


Now who will we vote for? The "advocacy" groups which give us bigger government and bureacratic incompetence while indoctrinating the kids into anti-Americanism - or the groups which trickle down the after-tax profits (if there were any taxes paid) into some type of job for you where you can make your own contribution to someone else's social welfare. They have to find candidates who are real talkers in order to hide these dismal choices from you. It must take a lot of money.

Morocco Foils Suspected Islamic Terrorist Attack on Belgium

The International Herald Tribune reports, "Morocco arrests 11 accused of links to Iraq insurgency plotting Belgium terror attack".


"Moroccan security services have arrested 11 people accused of plotting attacks in Morocco and Belgium and having links to Iraq's insurgency, the Moroccan state news agency reported Monday.


The suspects, including a Moroccan living in Belgium, were arrested in the cities of Nador and Fez, the MAP agency reported, citing unidentified police officials. The report did not say when the arrests took place.


They are accused of having links to cells sending fighters to Iraq's insurgency and to camps of an Algeria-based militant group that calls itself Al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa.


The report said authorities believe the suspects were planning attacks in Morocco and Belgium, without elaborating.


In Brussels, Lieve Pellens, a spokeswoman for the Belgian Federal Prosecutors Service, told The Associated Press that her office was "not aware" of the case, and was contacting Moroccan authorities."

The article continues at the link above and reports, too, on the status of an earlier terror cell being investigated, which was said to be headed by "Ahmed Safri, a Swede of Moroccan origin who returned to his native country to organize a support team that sent several fighters to Iraq". A more complete report on the tie-in information between those arrests is an AP report from WTOP, "Moroccan court broadens terrorism investigations".


Belgium had arrested 14 Muslim extremists in a terror plot in December, 2007. That arrest involved at least one Tunisian suspect and it is not known if the earlier arrests may be related to the two investigations above, but the circumstances indicate the likelihood that they are separate occurrences.

Galia Watch makes a good point. It is time the warning was heeded. The fight against us is not just on the local or national levels. The fight is on all fronts, and all of them are important. Also important is our acting in a serious way to prevent those who are intent on destroying us and our way of life. The leftist (not the various minorities by themselves) enemy has succeeded too well in that goal. Their future activities will be seriously dangerous to us, unless they are stopped.


The methods used are pointed out by the posts which follow. First, we return to Galia Watch and their article, "Preparing For Domination".

"There is work that is undone. The need continues and our children continue to be at great risk in this country."


Among his plans for the group are strengthening its online presence to connect with activists, mobilize public opinion and build a database for tracking racial discrimination and hate crimes; ensuring high voter turnout among blacks in the November election; pushing an aggressive civil rights agenda, regardless of the makeup of the Congress or White House; and retooling the national office to make it more effective at helping local branches affect change in their communities."

Another aspect of what is being a drag on the unity of whites, Americans and all Western peoples is being discussed at Gates of Vienna. Fjordman writes his article, "The Causes of Anti-Semitism: Preliminary Discussions", utilizing Fjordman's legendary skills, and instead of an excerpt I recommend that you view the article. Be aware, however, that despite Fjordman's skill as a writer, the main interest seems to lie in the comments section, which has created some interesting discussion.

The discussion shows that there is a real need for a full consideration of this issue. There is a need for discussion, but there needs to be more consideration of the subject with a practical mind and an attitude that is honestly open. A discussion on this issue can be crucial to the survival of our cultural traditions and possibly much more.

While the main story is on a community level, Age of Treason has an interesting post on what are perceived to be the attitudes attributed to those within the jewish community at, "Overcoming Our Blooming Idiocy". A question arises whether these attitudes would have an effect on our national and international policies and whether they work to the detriment of our Western societies. Is it only the institutions and organizations of the left which are providing the fodder for what is happening within our societies, or is it assisted and inspired on other levels?

We are warned in the next article of a new "obligation" being placed on the US by the UN and allied groups of leftists. The obligation can destroy US sovereignty. I'm sure that is it's true purpose, and a "responsibility to protect" is only an attempt to make the US to cede to UN authority.

The article, "New UN doctrine forces US to act", has very good information on the methods used by the left in order to push the US into acting against it's interests. The left uses similar tactics on the national and local levels as well.

Please note that this article on R2P has a very good description of how the synergies of various leftist groups are linked together in order to accomplish those things which could not be accomplished without concerted forceful action. That's because their objectives are not supported by those affected by their action. Their action is in the nature of a stealth coercision. The article has more depth than it seems to have at it's beginning. It is an important article to know and understand.

All of these articles give instances of how the left operates in order to press their agendas in ways which seem legal and open. Under present legal authority their methods are legal and open. That is not to say that they should be. The methods used by them are what has taken us to the point where we are. If there is any effective defense against those methods, let me know what they are. Apply those percentages to the general election, and the candidate will bomb. In 2004, President Bush won 43 percent of the Hispanic vote, 58 percent of the white vote and 11 percent of the African-American vote. That means that John Kerry did better among Hispanics than Barack Obama has done in the Democratic primaries; better among whites than Obama has done in the Democratic primaries; and almost as well among African-Americans. Obama's coalition is Kerry's, but weaker.

At Human Events, Ben Shapiro tells us why, "Barack Obama Is a Loser". The analysis is a good one and is based on facts I have not considered before. Not that I think anyone will win by voting for McCain, it's just that it is an interesting and solid political analysis.
